I really enjoyed being able to test this vacuum. It was so easy to set up on my phone and gets used to my home before cleaning. I liked the suction ability that it did.
I really liked the no go zone and setting it up for my home it knew exactly where to clean.
I like how it cleans for me and I don't have to do anything about it. I like that I can set up certain times on my phone to clean my home making it so convenient.

This vacuum is very powerful! It cleans wonderfully! I have a beagle/healer who sheds constantly and now you wouldn't know it! I use the Smart things wizzard by Samsung and I get a report after each cleaning. I have my Vacuum set to clean until the battery gets low. It is able to thoroughly clean the house and the run time is averaging 1 hour and 20 minutes. I clean the dust bin before each use because each time it fills it up. It picks up fine dust, fur and pet dander along with everything else. I am amazed with the object recognition. It doesn't bump into walls or furniture but gets everything under and around the furniture! I have my vacuum set to do the edges last and it gets right up to the edges of the baseboards without running into them. The other day I had errands to run, so I cleaned the house and started the vacuum before we left. It was so nice to come home to clean floors. We have tile in the common areas with entry rugs and carpeted bedrooms. This vacuum senses the different floor areas and has no trouble going from tile to carpet and back to tile. Each time I get a cleaning report in the Smart things app. Even if I'm not home when the vacuum is finished I get a cleaning report on my phone. It automatically returns to the charging station when the battery gets low and sets itself on the charger so it will be ready for the next time. It's so nice to have something that cleans on its own, while I do other chores and errands. What a Time saver. The Smart things app even alerts me when maintenance is needed. Setting up was so easy because the vacuum actually talks to you and guides you through the process! My honest opinion is it's a great product that I cannot live without! This is my first time owning a robotic vacuum but I have seen others in action that weren't made by Samsung and I can tell you the Samsung product does a far superior job!

All I have to say is wow! This but our past robot to a shame, it goes from hard surface to carpet effortlessly and does a fantastic job. I am the guy that does the vacuuming but I don't always move the furniture to get the vacuum under it. This one does all of the work for me maybe better than me. We downloaded the SmartThings app and it makes it super easy to block areas where a certain red poodle likes to unstuff his toys and leaves the fluff everywhere, the vacuum actually discovered his lair. And actual did a great job getting all of it sucked up but then I had to crawl under the king bed to grab the vacuum because something was stuck in its brush. It actually got all of the fuzz but I don't want to have to rescue it that deep. So I use the app an make a no go area. It is easy to use and I can see all of the areas that have been completed. Pretty nice feature. I like it enough to buy one for our other house. Highly recommended!

I love samsung products. samsung is a brand I trust and will be loyal to for years to come. I have tried a couple's of bot vacuums in the past, but they weren't worth the money spent. I read a lot about this vacuum, and an opportunity came up to get one. does not disappoint! It is extremely quiet, and unless you see it go by, you could almost forget it is running. the set up was easy, and the app is user friendly. If the battery gets low during its cycle, it hooks up at the station, and then goes back to finish the job! It has a self-cleaning brush, and even empties itself.
I am the owner of four (4) chihuahuas and a lab/pit mixed. So needless to say we have our fair share of dog hair. My Juan did the job very well. I am super pleased. I think anyone with pets would agree.

This little guy has changed the way I clean my entire home. I don't have to worry because everyday at noon my floors are being cleaned. Reduced the amount of dust in my home tremendously qnd it works wonderfully. My home feels clean, it fits right in a corner and it's easy to maintain. The only complaint I have is my pets like to bark at this little guy. I qm going to order one for my mother as this is ideal for her home as well.

This is the first time that we own a robot vacuum, I'm actually very pleased with this very well built robot vacuum from Samsung, the Jet Bot VR30T80. On the first run it'll map out the entire house and goes around the house twice, you can view it with the Samsung SmartThings app on your smart phone or tablet, it shows you where exactly the vacuum is going on the app, afterward I opened up the dustbin and notice that it picks up lots of small particles and the floor feels really clean, the only thing I am concern about is that the dustbin being too small, you might want to empty the dustbin after 3 or 4 times of use.
We have a little over 1 cm height area rug and it goes up onto the thick carpet and squeeze in tight corners without any problem. The motor noise is not that loud and the Jet Bot itself is not that heavy and it has that clean look to it which I really like it.
It's very easy to connect to your smart phone device, just use the Samsung SmartThing app and following the instruction and you'll be connected to the Jet Bot in no time.

I was so excited to get this vacuum robot , his name will be roddy the robot and I will refer to my vacuum as he lol. We have a Rosie in another part of the house . Exciting to compare.
Upon opening I really liked the sleek design. It was very easy to set up and the app recognized it right away. I placed it into a bedroom on the upper floor and started it up. Super easy , I had placed the magnetic tape by the stairs but it didn't seem to want to read the magnet. I will continue learning about the tape. He took off right away and said he was going to map out the area. He did not go off of the steps (I was there to catch him) but he got a little hung up on the edge. Like I said he's learning he did better the 2nd time.
It is the perfect height for going under the furniture, he did ask for help under the king size bed. It repeats until you help it. It asked me to remove items from its brush, so I got under the bed and discovered the place my 3 yr old poodle likes to gut his toys. White fluff everywhere…. It was just a little tangled in the outer brush , the roller brush seems to be self cleaning which is awesome. It was easy to fix and I gathered the fluff and let him finish.
I used it again today and it remember the places it had issues and it stayed away which I am happy about because the electric cords for the power bed are deep under and this time it was like it was being careful right there.
Today when I started him up he said I ham going to do the edges and baseboard first then zigzag .
This dust bin was very easy to empty and I was very surprised at how much dirt and dust was in there! I'm sure Finn the dog had something do do with that, and he gets pretty worried about the vacuum going to his hiding place. I can really hear the suction on this vacuum more so than my other robot.
I'm looking forward to setting it up and trying it on the other floors in the house it really goes from wood to carpet with ease and the brush is really making good contact with the carpet. Really looks like it's freshly vacuumed.
So far I am very pleased with its performance and ease of use , I vacuum at least 1x a week with the big vacuum but not under the bed. With all of the dirt from 2 runs around I may just let him do more of the work. The battery really lasts a long time too. I have a few houses I am working on and I will be recommending this guy for sure. I haven't experimented with the camera function yet I will report on that later.

I really like this robot vacuum, it is thorough and make sure to get every area in its space. It seems to last quite awhile before having to empty the tray and recharge. I also like how it knows how to go to its home charging station.

We recently had the chance to use and review the Samsung Jet™ Bot Vacuum (VR30T80313W/AA). Wow! I love this vacuum. It exceeded my expectations. I've used robotic vacuums in the past, but this is the most thorough cleaning, I've ever experienced. It went over and over the floor, mapping it out. There wasn't a speck of anything left when it finished. And while there is a slight hum, it's not very loud. It didn't really scare the cats, just got their attention. But it thoroughly cleaned under and around all the cabinets and furniture. I'm very impressed and will continue to recommend this vacuum to everyone I meet.

After several months of waiting, we finally received our Samsung Jet Bot Vaccum. (First attempt to ship it to us was an issue, so it took some time to resolve that). Setting it up was fairly easy. It can be paired with an app so we can check up on it when we're not home or when we don't have a visional on it. App alerts us anytime the vacuum needs assistance (trapped in an area, entangled in something, low battery, tray needing to be emptied, etc.) Vaccum can be programmed in multiple languages which was a plus in our household. Vaccum can be paired fairly easily with Google Assistance which makes controlling the vacuum easier. We've benefited from being able to program the Samsung vacuum to clean during the typical hours the house is empty. It does a good job in picking up any crumbs, hairs, dust, etc. that find their way on our floors. That's especially helpful in maintaining the harder-to-reach areas of the home. Vacuum easily fits under our couches, beds, tables and other tight areas. I will say when programing the vacuum to clean, you must make sure that there aren't too many wires laying around since they may get caught on the machine. The vacuum does however give you an option to mark areas as restricted if you have wires or other items that you don't want the vacuum near. Vaccum is small enough to fit under side tables in my living room. Overall, I am so glad we got this vacuum it has helped a lot in helping us upkeep our home.

There is nothing more precious than time. I now have my time back with the Samsung Jet Bot vacuum. I set it up to run once a week to pick up the dust around the apartment and it's wonderful. Prior to getting this smart vacuum, I had to haul out the old upright corded vacuum and it took me a good 45 minutes each week to do the apartment including under the dressers and shelving. This Jet Boy is very quiet compared to my old vacuum. I vaccumed at 1130pm the other night and other than a low hum, it was barely noticeable.
The vacuum comes with magnetic strips to place in areas where you don't want the vacuum to go such as near a fireplace or near a small drop/steps.
My apartment is partially carpeted and the Jet Bot easily goes from my bare wooden floors to my rugs with no problem.
The app is interesting and I think it can be improved upon. I had a little problem with the app finding the vacuum but once I set it up, all went well. I was able to watch the Jet Bot map oit my entire apartment systematically.
I really appreciate the simplicity of being able to take out the filter and rollers in case something gets tangled - it takes just a few seconds to pop out the roller to untangle what ever is in there.
I am super thrilled to put the Jet Bot to great use and to be able to take this chore off my list forever!

This robot is like something from a futuristic movie. It does one heck of a job maintaining the household. It runs once a day on a schedule and We make sure to clean the dust bin on it daily.. It works fine maintaining a clean floor. Bit pricey. The brush and spinner brush that swoops debri in needs to be taken off often to remove tangles hair. Also does not automatically stop and notify when the unit is full of dust and debri.

The Jet Bot came in a decent sized box and was well packed. Set-up was extremely easy and the app was easily understandable. The product presentation is great and it even comes with an extra brush. I am impressed by the Smart Things App. If I want my bot to start cleaning at night, I can control it from my phone.
The Jet Bot goes over my porcelain tile floors with no problems. If something gets stuck in the roller brush, then the bot advises you with an auditory message. This is also true if the bin is full. The trash bin is about double the size of my older one. I have two dogs that are constantly shedding and this vacuum really lightens the load.
I am overly impressed by the maneuvering capabilities of the Jet Bot. It really outdoes the robot vacuum I already had. It is very thorough and moves very smoothly. I believe the Lidar feature really makes a difference for mapping purposes.

I have used other Robotic Vacuums for a while. This vacuum is way ahead of others. The ease of use and app make it simple to clean. I loved the LIDAR mapping in memory to speed up cleaning. The suction power of this Jet Bot is amazing. I look forward to using this vacuum in the future. I love the Samsung products for cleaning. I just realized that you can create a No/Go zone on the app and keep the vacuum out of the area. Also if there are different surface types then the Jet Bot will adjust the suction power up to 5w. The floor is clean after the Vacuum releases clean air while using a 5-layer HEPA filtration process.

This jet bot vacuum is such a fun helper around the house. We used to be kind of a skeptic when it comes to robot vacuums and it is not until we finally owned one did we realize how much we are missing out. Let me talk about the pros of this jetbot vacuum:
1. It actually sucks so much dirt and we are so shocked to see that much dirt whenever we empty out the dirt compartment.
2. it is sleek and thus can get under the couch and reach nooks and crannies
3. the lidar sensor is great and it prevents bumping into our furnitures
4. the map it creates in the app is so neat and you can access it using the app and see where your vacuum is currently cleaning
5. you can schedule it to clean automatically using the app
Now the only reason i did not give it a 5 star is because sometimes the app is glitchy and can use better updates. Also, we had to get a replacement because our first one had issues with the Lidar sensor.

This is a smart, elegant and smooth running vacuum cleaner. It works quietly and discreetly. It creates a map of where it is cleaning and the areas that must be cleaned. It is easy to be located from the phone app and it even sends a sound when it gets lost. It goes to its station if needs to recharge in the middle of a cleaning routine by itself and the. It resumes cleaning the areas needed from before.
The machine works smoothly and quietly.
The design is beautiful. It is way more quiet than other brands and the voice it uses is smooth and pleasant. It takes so much dirt and dust every time even after the cleaning is done. It lost a small screw and it has been really hard to find so we are currently trying to fix it. Other than that it is an amazing robot.

My wife received the vacuum at a discount for her honest opinion. I'm the second household member to write a review.
I have a well known competitors stick vacuum, so I had something to do a direct comparison with. I also have a dog who sheds, so I was intrigued to see how the Samsung would deal with the dog hair.
This is a simple to use, light and maneuverable vacuum. The charging station mounts on the wall, and it has the necessary tools to get the job done. I like the push button design of powering on/off the unit as well as changing the suction power. One button for power, a "+" button and "-" button for changing the suction power. For the most part I keep it set to the highest suction ad the battery lasts long enough for me to do my usual couple of rooms at a time (I don't vacuum the whole house at once). It pretty much picks up everything/ The included upholstery tool does a great job taking dog hair off the furniture. Being so light, it is not fatiguing to use. I can hold it up to get ceiling corners and cobwebs along the ceiling with ease. It's simple to swap tools and empty it.
This is a great vacuum at a competitive price. I highly recommend it.

I have tried 3 different brands of smart vacs Roomba, Roborock and this Samsung. I have to say I like the Samsung the best. It does a great job mapping the landscape but does even a better job of not getting stuck. When its cleaning, it does a very good job cleaning around. I find that If I run this on a schedule and do spot cleaning when needed, I rarely have to clean the entire house. Overall I am very pleased with the suction power and how well it performs on hard surfaces and various types of carpet;.

I have 4 Samsung R7040 Powerbot vacuums and they seem to last about 18 months before breaking down. Instead of repairing my last broken R7040, I decided to try this newer version, and I am glad I did! Here are the improvements:
1. Accurate mapping of all the rooms
2. Finds its way back to the charging base 98% of the time
3. The new brush doesn't require as much maintenance for it doesn't get hair tangled in the roller.
4. It picks up virtually everything: small hair clips, ribbons, tiny toys. I can usually separate the toys and hair clips quickly when emptying the bin.
The only complaint I have is the bin could be larger.

No one likes to vacuum (if they're being honest), so this small automatic unit is just what you want to eliminate the chore. It takes a little time to get the maps setup for your home and then, all you have to do is schedule it and off it goes. It seems to handle all that we throw at it very well and seems to do a good job with obstacles that we put in its way, such as deliveries that come in the mail, etc. When it is done with its work, it finds its way back to the base station and docks itself to charge.
We have multiple hard flooring surfaces in our home and it handles them all, as well as the transitions well.
This device sure makes it easy. All households could benefit from something like this.

For me, the Samsung Jet Bot seemed a bit small and clunky at first, so I was skeptical of its functionality. I was proven wrong right away. The system of this machine and its features are simultaneously intricate while also simple for the user to set up. The bot learned and mapped my house within 2 sessions and had a successful cleaning session more than 90 percent of the time. It's small but so efficient that I was surprised when it came to cleaning out the dirt bin. It managed to pick up so much dirt that I wasn't even aware that was present. This is and has become one of the best tools for my household when it comes to cleaning.

I like how easy it was to set up and is great to use the app. I also liked how the vacuum did a run through of my home to get familiar within it. There is little noise when it is running and no whistling sound. I think the water filter is a great idea to help save on energy and get your home cleaner. I liked the no go zones because I feel better knowing it's cleaning the right areas of my home.

I love how easy this vacuum is to set up and how it 'talks' to you and lets you know what it is doing. It does very well with picking up crumbs and pet hair and does not get hung up on thresholds. It is a bit tall and unable to get under some furniture that my other robotic vacuums could do. The app was also easy to set up. I deducted 2 stars because the rubber on the brush is already fraying after only one month of use. A cool feature of this vacuum is that it intuitively adjusts the suction power based on the type of flooring and amount of dirt that it senses. You can also map out your house in the app and choose areas you want it to avoid like where your pet food station is. I cannot give it more than 3 stars since it is already falling apart after only a month. It also has no problem finding its way back home to charge.

i've been using an old model of a roomba for 8 years, and it was about time to grab a new one. i really liked the white design of this model, and after reading the positive reviews, i decided to give it a try. the robot started to map out the structure of my house, and clean very systematically and thoroughly, compared to the roomba which was roaming wherever it wanted to. i'm just hands down impressed by this guy.

Love this Jet Bot! The family named him Sammy. Very easy to setup with the Smart Things app.
The first we did was scan and clean the first floor of our house, which was carpet and click floor. After it was completely I got the Swiffer floor mop out and redid my click floor, I was absolutely amazed that there was no dust on the Swiffer. I'm a complete clean freak and this machine blew my mind away.
If your thinking of purchasing this product go for it.

I have had several Samsung R7040 robot vacuums and they tend to last about a year and was not very intelligent. At first, I was reluctant on purchasing this model due to my past experiences with the R7040 vacuums, but I took a chance on it, and am glad I did!
The Jet Bot feels like a complete different unit. The laser scanning feature maps out the rooms perfectly, and I love the fact that it know how to return to the base without human intervention. The soft roller prevents hair and string tangles, and the overall performance is a few notches better than the R7040.
The only thing I would change is to have a larger dust bin capacity. I find myself emptying the dust bin more frequently, but it's a small sacrifice compared to all the improvements!
I am waiting for a Black Friday deal to pick up a second one for the second floor.

This little guy/girl is amazing. Does a fantastic job on our tile floors and carpet as well. Hits all the open spots and smaller spots it can fit in. Also great at going under furniture like chairs and tables. Does not hit anything, it is very smart, great area awareness. One you set up the map, you can select and deselect rooms if you only want it to clean certain areas. We have two dogs and a cat, this picks up pet hair wonderfully. So far no clogs or issues after several runs. You can actually hear the suction change according to how much debris is in that area, ours is usually right inside the back door, track in more from the back yard. It does let you know if it has run into a problem and what it is through your phone and speaks to you. Easy to empty and replace filter. I have not noticed any odors coming from it when it is running. With my traditional vacuum we could always smell "pet" odors coming from it when running. Fun and intuitive to set up and let it build the floor map. I just cannot say enough good this about this vacuum.

I bought the JetBot Robot Vacuum to replace a two-year-old Samsung PowerBot Robot vacuum that started making noises. Since we were happy with the original one, decided to try the new one too. Initially skeptical about the soft rollers but nevertheless gave it a try as it had the feature to cut the hair that was often clogged in our previous vacuum. We are really pleased with this robot vacuum's performance. Now the hair is not completely getting tangled in the rollers. Also, I removed the side brush after the first try as it got quite a bit of hair tangled up. Considering its performance, I may reattach the side brush. Previous PowerBot used to bump into different things but this one avoids obstacles. Also, this can climb on floor mats better. I wish the color of the vacuum is not white though. We use many Samsung products including Samsung Smartthings Hub and all. That is one another reason for buying Samsung again. Overall extremely pleased with the vacuum's performance.

was looking to reduce the twice a week vacuuming to manage pet hair on my floors. the sweeping path that the samsung jet bot in not very wide. it will take longer to see the floor cleaning complete. battery life is around 90 minutes. spin brush works to move hair and larger dirt towards the roller brush. suction is substantially better. the roller brush is self-cleaning! no more cutting massive hair balls off the roller. it has exceeded expectation in hair management. i love the ability to hit the run command on my app from work. i can see this becoming a well loved and used appliance in my home.
