    Great little machine

    When I purchased this unit I was a little bit skeptical about it thinking this is allot of money for something that's not going to be as good as a regular vacuum. Boy was I wrong! Now that we have it I don't think we would be without it. We have a big dog that runs the house and he sheds really bad so we end up with dog hair all over. We were vacuuming a couple times a day and still had a hard time keeping up with it. So I bought the Samsung robot and turned it loose on the house and was amazed with the job it did. Still had to use our big vac now and then to do things where the robot couldn't go but not the tune as we did before buying the robot. It has a powerful vacuumthat picks up everything. After a year I had a problem with the right wheel motor and had to have it replaced, it was down for a couple weeks and we didn't know how to act. We got it back pretty quickly and where a happy family again lol! Recommend it to everyone, I know we won't be without one and it will be a Samsung!

    NAVAGATION SOFTWARE NEEDS WORK OR IT WILL BE RETURNED TO THE STORE

    The VR2AK9350WK/AA S/N0B938FEH800253Y Samsung Powerbot we purchased from BestBuy does not seem to learn the house layout as advertised and we do not have a large house with only two bedrooms, no matter how many times it cleans the house using the automatic cleaning feature. We have made this house robot friendly by picking up the chairs off the ground, moved cables out of the way, but this does not improve its ability to clean the rooms. Many time is spends an hour cleaning the room that the power charger is contained and finally it will leave the room to start cleaning the rest of the house, but since it took so long cleaning the 1st room going over the same spot many times it will finally leave the room and get halfway done cleaning the rest of the house and it runs out of battery charge, detects the battery is low and then the vacuum is shuts off and it roams around the house trying to find its way back to its charger without cleaning the carpets. You would think that after it had cleaned the house and it had to return to its charger it would find the most efficient path back to its base, but is just roams from room to room looking for the base. Many times the battery will run out of power before it finds the base and we have to pick it up and take it back to the charger. This happens often and we have cleaned all the sensors with compress air with no improvement. We got it to sync up to the Samsung software where it can trace the house and it draws a map of the whole house in the application but it seems to only clean part of the room that the power charger is contained and then runs off to try and clean the rest of the house. Using this feature it only cleans part of each room and then quickly returns to the charger without cleaning the house? It seems the advertising that the sensors can track its movement on a 3D bases and remember where it was so after several runs at cleaning the house it will remember where is was and can clean each room and return to its charger base. There is no evidence this is occurring so I think there is some hype that the robot can actually be this efficient. We are thinking about returning the Samsung powerboat before our evaluation time runs out if it does not improve its ability to clean efficiently. We have it hooked to our Wi-Fi network and the book claims it will upgrade its software but there is no way to know if it has updated it SW as I am sure there are working on this issue. Also Samsung needs to produce a application dedicated to this robot where you can get more status information on SW updates and generate a more accurate house layout for it to clean. As for cleaning when it finally cleans a room it does a good job but you need to use the lowest power mode or the battery will run out quickly

    Samsung Robot Vacuum

    My Samsung robotic vacuum , who I now call 'Sammy', has been performing in an efficient manner. This unit will go under beds and around obstacles in order to complete it's mission. I had only one problem when Sammy got stuck under a table and turned itself off, and that was forgivable. Seriously this unit will not stop you from using your regular vacuum cleaner, but the robot is tireless and does the day-to day routine vacuuming.

    Have only had a short while but love this vacuum. It does a great job. The up and down pattern gets the whole floor or rug. It is quite and just love not having to push a vacuum around myself.

    I have only had for 11 days but so far I am very happy. I have 2 small dogs and one of them sheds very badly. The Powerbot does a great job with picking up the pet hair, etc. I am 72 and vacuuming is hard on my back. It's nice to be able to have my floors clean without all the work. I is doing great on my hardwood floors and large rug.

    Somewhat expensive, but well worth the expense by the performance of the "bot". Amazing how it "maps" each room and follows a unique pattern and doesn't miss any part of the areas that it is cleaning. I love my PowerBot!

    The PowerBot has a sleek design (it's very pretty!) and it is packaged very well with easy to read instructions. It is really easy to use. Samsung doesn't complicate the use of the PowerBot with a bunch of buttons, just 3 buttons. Easy to set-up for first use and easy to clean. Multiple modes of cleaning. Overall, a great product!

    This is a powerful, beautifull designed, and quiet robot vacuum cleaner. I have a dog and she sheds a lot of hair daily. This Powerbot Samsung really helps keep my house clean and saves me a lot of time. I just need to keep the floor clean of sharp or foreign things and rearrange furniture a little to help it move faster and it will do the rest.     Just the product I needed

    I received the robotic vacuum this week. I set it up to charge and left for an appointment and to run a few errands. When I returned it had started cleaning my carpeted living room but had encountered a dog toy and was waiting for rescue when I returned. I removed the toy and the robot vacuum started right back up cleaning even corners I never thought it would find. It then moved to my tile dining room and cleaned it well, then to the laundry room which it found and found the way out. It went on to the hallway, found the first bedroom down the hall and cleaned as far as the stacked boxes in the room allowed. Then across the hall to the bathroom where after cleaning about half the floor it ran low on battery (I had been gone for about 2 hours, so I don't know how long it had been cleaning before I got home - it cleaned about 1/2 hour after I got home). With a low battery, the vacuum motor turned off and the robot worked its way back to the docking station, parked itself and started charging. I LOVE IT!!!! All the areas it got to were cleaned quite well. There's a couple of spots on my carpet (the puppy chewed into a Jello package) where I plan to use the spot clean when I get a few minutes, but the spots already look better with just the general cleaning. The cleaning it did picked up a good amount of carpet lint spilled popcorn, grass that had been tracked in by the dog, etc. I'm hoping this product lasts for years. If it does, I can honestly say it is a very good value.

    Powerful, not sure if it "learns"

    Pretty powerful vacuum. We're impressed with how much dirt the canister has in it when its done:-) We have vaulted ceilings in a "great" room with walls separating spaces. It seems to do some spaces multiple times and others not at all, unless we put it in that space. I am not sure if it "learns" from multiple uses how the room is layed out.

    this this vacuum has a personality of its own. it seems to be happy to clean my floors. it does a great job. it will clean until the battery runs low, then it well to the docking station on its own, or I can tell to go to the docking station with remote control . it will clean under my lamp tables and my bakers rake in the kitchen. it cant clean under my bed due to my side rails are too low, its a keeper

    I have used the POWERbot once and it did great picking up the dog hair. It is much quieter than my previous robotic vacuum. One thing lacking is a Pause button to empty the dust bin.

    One Flaw needs user fix -- for the furniture traps

    Many of the hang ups against furniture reported, or backing into walls, are easily fixed. When used many times it will shutdown against furniture legs sometimes at random, because when bumping the side, the drive motor torque lifts up the side, extending the wheels, and triggering the sensor for protection when picking up off the floor. Some cardboard and tape in the wheel well will keep the wheels proper with all the tilt needed, and the Powerbot can be used with confidence. The wheels extend well beyond the point set for the sensor, which somehow has been set for a short distance. Otherwise it has proved excellent. The large wheels are effective on carpet unique in the industry -- the only choice in some cases -- and the washable filter saves a lot on supplies. It will keep dirt building up in carpets when used frequently, besides easier to clean hard floors. The area coverage is superior with the wide brush and large battery. The solid state camera for guidance provides durability. Altogether worth a premium.

    This product gets caught up on everything

    It would be great if it didn't get caught up on furniture legs and doorways. When it does it starts its cleaning pattern all over again so that it never completes its mission. It doesn't clean under the beds even though there is enough room for it to fit. You must use the remote to set time and schedule.

    This is overall a wonderful Robot Vaccum Pros: Very Powerful Vacuums Everything! Usually pretty smart and avoids banging into everything (like its cirlce shaped competitors) Charges Quickly Easy to clean Cleans pet hair very well The remote is amazing, point and clean is something every robot needs Cons: Sometimes gets stuck on ramps like barstools and lamps that have a ramp shaped bottom. Short battery life (but it does charge quickly so its not too bad) Expensive - Its pretty pricey You get what you pay for, if you can afford it the Powerbot is amazing especially if you have pets.

    MY HOME IS CLEANER THAN EVER

    I can't believe how much dust and other stuff the unit picks up. We have a 3400 sq ft home so it take several charges to finish the job. It seems to be to be leaning every day how not to get stuck and to map the rooms for complete job. The unit is quieter than I expected it to be. It has a lower db than a normal vac. This is my first robotic vac and I now see why people are so happy with them. I chose a Samsung based on experience with their products like tv, Galaxy S4 phones, refrigerator, washer and dryer. Guess we are a Samsung family.

    My life with Samsung

    My two best friends in the world are Sophie and Gracie, my two Golden Retrievers. As lovable as my pups are, they shed constantly and it was necessary for me to vacuum every single day, and this was getting to a pain as I am getting on in years. My house is full of Samsung appliances and when this was demonstrated in Best Buy, I decided to give it a try. This thing is amazing, it navigates through my large home with ease and gets 99.9% of the dog hair and dust, You would never know a dog lives here. Every couple of days I have to clean the brush, but that is very easy and straight forward. I have it programmed to clean the house at night when I'm asleep, and wake up to a clean home in the morning. Thank you Samsung for another really good, high quality product.

    The POWERbot picked up a ton of extra dust even after I swept and vacuumed. It isn't rough on my hardwood floors. It does have a hard time finding side rooms because my house has a weird shape. Overall very good vacuum.
