    Weve just installed the refrigerator in our kitchen a month ago. We have a KitchenAid that only lasted for six years and we paid almost $4000 for it. I asked the repair guy white refrigerator he would recommend and he told me LG so far my wife and I are very happy with the function ability of the refrigerator the size and the looks. I am very pleased with my LG Fridge.

    Awful fridge Worst Ive ever owned

    This is the worst fridge I have ever owned. I usually love LG products and particularly their fridges but this one is terrible. The ice maker has never kept up with demand and frequently will just stop making ice altogether. I have had to request service on the fridge twice in two years because the fridge stopped cooling and has error codes. I lost so much food each time the fridge broke down. The LG customer service to resolve the situation is impossible. My wife spent over 20 hours across 3 days trying to find a resolution with them in the week leading up to Thanksgiving. They finally declared it a lemon and put the refund in an LG account but we are unable to access the account online because they put it under the wrong email address so its back to waiting on hold with customer service again. What a disappointing experience. The wasted hours with poor customer service and the wasted food are even more disappointing than the bad fridge.

    We have owned this refrigerator for less than 2 years and have had 2 service calls. One to replace craft ice maker and one to replace the compressor. Both times were under warranty and both issues were fixed as promised. Otherwise its a refrigerator that freezes and cools properly.

    I like this style refrigerator. My very first with special door in the right side for drinks and things that we use often. Perfect idea and we use it constantly. I have one big issue with it - the crisper drawers. Im not sure which drawer to use for the vegetables. Ive tried both and my vegetables rot way faster than they should. My previous refrigerators were marked and had special spaces to open and close for more or less moisture. I used to be able to keep large carrots for 6 months or more. Not with this refrigerator. Celery rots with a few weeks. Ive tried all the how to ideas to wrap the celery but it doesnt work.

    Overall very happy with my refrigerator. Only drawback so far has been the craft ice. Container must be all the way back for it to make ice. As soon as it makes ice the drawer pops back out. Every morning I open and push it back. Also having a problem registering online.

    Very dark inside. It should have more lights to see all the contents. Really bad water pressure. it has only a small stream which takes forever to fill out a glass. The door also got dented with minor pressure or hit. LG did not want to give warranty passing the responsibility to the store where bought where they also denied because it was past their time.     Stay away from this fridge. I bought this fridge in November of 2021. I had to have the craft icemaker repaired this summer and now the whole unit fridge and freezer are toast. I couldnt get a repair person here for a week. The only solution to avoid this again is to buy a new fridge and it isnt LG. Sadly this company is using substandard stuff. When I had it repaired in August the repairman said this should be recalled because it is nothing but problems. Boy was he right. I probably lost over $600 in food.

    Untested out of the factory water takes forever

    I purchased one from a local appliance store figuring they would stand behind the products they sell. They did but not with any help from the manufacturer. The first unit after tearing apart the rear door frame to get it in the house was reassembled and plugged in and never worked the man circuit board was faulty right out of the factory. I guess testing things costs too much nowadays. Eventually they sourced a second unit at the expense of the dealer and it has worked all right. A few design issues I dont like: the glass shelves are thin and flimsy the water filter needs replacement at three months instead of six and the water dispenser flows extremely slowly which wastes my time. Real door handles apparently dont meet with your ultra-modern design ideas and I have no confidence that this fridge will last more than five years. This will likely be my last LG appliance and shipping untested and defective products to your dealers is not a good way to retain customers.

    Dont fall for the Craft ice or Door in Door.

    I feel robbed after almost 2 years of buying this. First on the first year the craft ice stopped working. I had to reset it every few days to get more ice and after a month of resetting it it completely died and was replaced under warranty. Now at almost two years Im having to reset the craft ice again so I know the craft ice is going to stop working again and this time is out of warranty. The second issue the door in door broke and now the small door stays open. The plastic catch on the big door broke. Im trying to find the part but it looks that the whole door has to be changed. Tried calling LG but they just want to send a tech and charge me. Did the whole kitchen with LG Top of the line appliances and now I regret it.

    Great Fridge except for the Craft Ice Cube Maker

    I bought this LG refrigerator a little over a year ago and overall I am pleased with it. The only issue I have had with it is that the Craft Ice Maker stopped working then after repair made loud knocking noise. I had it replaced and hopefully all will be good with it now. Buy the extended warranty.

    So far this has been a good fridge. The handles are in an odd spot for me but great for my kids. It was a little odd not having anywhere for butter or smaller items with a little flap door in the fridge and also not having a drawer in the mid section but that is just me coming from a more expensive model to a cheaper one. Having the drawers all low can be annoying and the little front door is a gimmick as the shelves in the door are stocked with sauces and such not drinks which is what the intent is for but where would all the sauces and stuff go if not in the door? There is zero room for them elsewhere? All in all its a decent fridge but I am still waiting for the ice to quit tasting like plastic. The main crushed ice has gotten better over the past few months but the craft ice is still unusable as it makes everything taste like plastic chemicals still and reminds me of the water tank in our 1985 motorhome so nasty. Im wondering if that ice will ever be usable as its just absorbs all the checmicals from whatever it sits in to get formed and ruins perfectly good drinks still...

    Refrigerator was delivered on Wednesday August 30 2023. On Sunday September 3 2023 refrigerator side will not hold set temperature of 37 degrees. I had placed digital refrigerator thermometers on both sides to make sure refrigerator functioned as it should. Waiting on service.

    Great Refrigerator with a single exception.

    I really do like the new refrigerator quite a bit great capacity quiet operation lots of light inside. The shelves do not easily adjust for height which is unexpected. A more seriously disappointing item has to do with the power cord of all items: The dimensions for the refrigerator are published and I measured carefully as my space is fully enclosed at the top and sides. The power cord runs directly over the top of the box and is NOT considered in the required dimensions I had to cut a notch the hardwood cabinet above the refrigerator to accommodate the cord. I wasnt pleased but it is hidden.

    ICE MAKERS ARE CRAP

    Ive had this unit for 1 year and 2 weeks. I have had service techs out over 8 times for this unit. 1st time 2 visits - front of door was smashed upon delivery 2nd time 2 visits - craft ice maker stopped producing ice 6 months in 3rd time 2 visits - craft ice maker stopped producing ice 9 months in 4th time 2 visits - door ice maker stopped producing ice 12 months in If you are a lover of ice this is not the unit for you. Heck if you want a little ice once in awhile dont get this. Customer service is AMAZING though. It just stinks LG uses crappy parts for their refrigerators.

    LG needs to redesign the ice makers on this model

    Both ice makers failed in the first year. The refrigerator appears to have design flaws otherwise the ice makers would have been working flawlessly. The design is basically good but this model needs a much better warranty. There is lots of room in the refrigerator and freezer halves. Aside from the expensive ice maker repairs I like it.

    Not happy with this fridge at all

    We have owned this LG model for TWO months. Two weeks ago the in-door water/ice dispenser light went out and the freezer side of the fridge feeling very hot to the touch. We were told to shut off the power source wait 60 seconds then restart the fridge. The light did come back on however this has been a recurring issue with us having to disconnect and reconnect the fridge several times a day. We are waiting on a technician to inspect the fridge to see what is happening.

    I had a problem setting the temp. The manual did not work. Your help on line did not help. I looked at a you tube video and saw the solution to my problem. You have to mash or push hard on the pad to get it to change a temp. I have a ccll phone I own a Tesla. I also use my computer alot. You blew this one.....

    Poor compressor longevity

    Love the door in door feature but after 4 1/2 years the compressors went. Its been a week and LG still cant find a tech to do the work. The local repairman diagnosed problem but doesnt work on compressors anymore- he recommend not buying any LGs as this is a common problem. If LG doesnt get compressor replaced will see if re-imbursement for purchase price or replacement of refrigerator is possible doubt it though.

    VERY DISAPPOINTING WITH NEW DESIGN FEATURES

    I bought 2 new LG side by side one with door in door and the other just regular side by side. The door in door has an ice craft thing. WASTE of space. It also has a thing called UVNano light. It runs 10 minutes every hour. CANT shut it off. WASTE of energy. For the rest of this review When I refer to the issues it includes BOTH refrigerators. The ice dispensers dont just make cubes they spit slivers of ice from the top of the dispenser which just cannot be contained and go all over the floor. The area below the dispenser is flat and even it a cube or sliver hit there they bounce onto the floor. The draws are flimsy and you have to reach below the draw to open it. Very inconvenient. For the bottom draw that means having to reach almost to the floor to open it. Back and knee issues so that is a problem for me. I had a door in door LG side by side and except for the fact that the compressor went out twice I did like it. Was leery about getting another one because of compressor issues but bought it anyway. I am VERY disappointed with the new ones.

    Ive had this refrigerator for over a month now and Im glad i went with this side by side style. I like it much better than the French door style i used to have. The craft ice feature is pretty cool.

    Very roomy Craft ice cool

    Bought it 6 months ago to replace old fridge and thankfully just fit into our space. Very roomy craft ice nice Didnt come with any bins so I had to order those it dings if you leave the door open too long and cant turn that off dont care for that. The installers also didnt balance the doors so the door closes on me every time I open it. LG sent a repairmen as we bought the warranty and he said he doesnt do that.

    I bought this fridge in Dec. The craft ice make failed in May. Got it repaired in June. It took an act of Congress to get it repaired. Customer service sucked at best and because of that I will never buy LG again. Fridge is just ok nothing special
