Inventors. Heroes. Wrong thinkers. Problem solvers. Dyson is a place for the unconventional.
Frustrated with a Hoover that lost its suction, 20 years ago James Dyson founded Dyson from a coach house in the southwest of England. 5,127 prototypes later, he perfected the technology behind the world’s first vacuum that didn’t lose suction.
Dyson now holds over 3,500 patents for 500 inventions, and sells Dyson technology in more than 60 countries.
Dyson landed in the US in 2002 and hasn’t looked back. From our US HQ in Chicago’s River North, we determine how to communicate and spread Dyson technology across the US.
We have great marketers, sales people, finance, logistics, human resources and customer care people. We need more people who crave our spirit and want to evolve with it. It’s challenging. You need to be bold, resilient, daring and nimble. But it’s exciting and full of opportunity, too.
